About Doppio Dog
Doppio Dog is a guide site for people who own a home espresso machine and want to fix it, improve it and keep it running.
Who writes the guides
A small team of home espresso owners. We sign as a team rather than as invented experts. When a guide is based on our own work on a machine, the guide says so.
Why the site is organised by machine
Repair and mod advice is often written for one machine and reused for the rest. A Gaggia Classic Pro fix doesn't always apply to an E24, and a Silvia V3 part may not fit a V6. Every guide here starts from the exact machine and version, and the site follows the same order: machine first, then symptom, then mod.
The dog
The dog in the red beanie is our mascot. He turns up where a guide wants you to pause: check the version, unplug the machine, then start.
Independent from machine makers
Doppio Dog is not connected to Gaggia, Rancilio, De'Longhi, Lelit, Flair, La Pavoni, Breville or Sage. Their names belong to their owners.
