How Recommendations and Affiliate Links Work
Doppio Dog may earn a commission when you buy through an affiliate link on this site. This page explains what that means and what it doesn't change.
As an Amazon Associate, Doppio Dog earns from qualifying purchases. We may also take part in other retailer programmes; the page that carries the link says so.
Where affiliate links appear
On kit picks, parts lists and buying guides. An affiliate link carries a short commission notice near it. A source link in a References section or a plain link to a manufacturer is not an affiliate link.
Not every recommendation earns a commission
Some links go to manufacturers or specialist retailers without affiliate tracking. A useful part does not need an affiliate programme to be in a guide, and a part with one does not get in because of it.
Research is not a hands-on test
A buying guide can compare supplier specifications, installation requirements and compatibility without being a hands-on review. Each guide says which of its claims come from a test on a machine and which come from documents.
Your purchase is with the retailer
Doppio Dog does not sell or ship the products linked in these guides. The retailer handles checkout, delivery, returns and support. Check the exact model, voltage, seller and delivery region before you pay.
